631. India’s Total Exports Of Goods & Services Surge To A Record High Of $418.91 Billion, Registering 5.86% Annual Hike
- On December 10, 2025 the Commerce Ministry reported from New Delhi that India’s April–September 2025 exports reached a record US$418.91 billion, growing 5.86% year-on-year despite global uncertainties.
- The Commerce Ministry detailed how services exports, digital trade tools like Trade eConnect and TIA, and new partnerships—CETA, CEPA, ECTA and EFTA—strengthened export momentum, while the Export Promotion Mission unified schemes into an adaptive, outcome-based framework.
- H1 services exports rose 9.34% to US$199.03 billion; merchandise exports grew 2.90% to US$219.88 billion. Key drivers included electronics (41.94%), engineering goods, pharma and marine products. Top destinations showed strong growth: US, UAE, China, Spain and Hong Kong.

632. NEC Allocates Rs 4.78 Crore To Boost Infrastructure And Development Initiatives In Nagaland
- On December 10, 2025, in Kohima, officials confirmed that Nagaland received ₹4.78 crore from the NEC in November for development initiatives spanning tourism, youth and sports infrastructure, indigenous cultural projects and allied sectors.
- The North Eastern Council supported Nagaland by releasing targeted funds for infrastructure, agriculture, culture, education and livelihood activities, while also disbursing ₹14.89 crore to central agencies for regional cultural events, seminars and academic programmes.
- Projects funded include piggery value-chain facilities, scientific pig-breeding units, animal-feed production, documentation of traditional medicine, smart virtual classrooms and indigenous community development; completed works include rainwater reservoirs in Dimapur and Khuzama and a skill-training centre in Chiechama.

633. CAF&PD Manipur Launches Free LPG Connections Under PMUY Phase 3.0
- On December 10 , 2025 it was reported that At a press conference in Imphal, the Manipur government announced the rollout of free LPG connections under PMUY Phase 3.0 after the Centre approved 25 lakh additional connections for 2025–26.
- CAF&PD officials, IOCL representatives and Director K. Bono Singh detailed eligibility norms, documentation, and the role of District Ujjwala Committees to ensure transparent delivery, aiming to include all remaining uncovered families across rural, remote and hill areas.
- Manipur has provided 2,22,010 PMUY connections so far; nationally, over 10.33 crore connections were issued under earlier phases. PMUY offers deposit-free LPG access to adult women from economically weaker households, supporting health improvement and reduced household drudgery.

634. Rooftop solar systems installed on nearly 24 lakh households: Shripad Yesso Naik
- On December 9, 2025 in Parliament, the government reported that 23.96 lakh households across India had installed rooftop solar systems under the PM Surya Ghar scheme, achieving 23.96% of the one-crore target for FY 2026–27.

635. Govt releases ₹7,106 crore for PM-KUSUM as scheme tops 10 GW rollout
- On November 30, 2025, the Centre released ₹7,106 crore for the PM-KUSUM scheme across India, as stated by Union Minister Shripad in a written reply to the Lok Sabha on December 10, 2025.
- Union Minister detailed how PM-KUSUM supports individual farmers, FPOs, WUAs and PACS through decentralised solar plants, off-grid pumps and pump or feeder solarisation, with simplified procedures to expand access and coverage nationwide.

636. Highway Infrastructure bags ₹328.77 crore NHAI contract, order book crosses ₹1,000 crore
- On December 10, 2025, HIL announced it received an NHAI Letter of Award worth ₹328.77 crore for one-year toll operations and management at the Kaza Fee Plaza on the Chilakaluripet–Vijayawada stretch of NH-16 in Andhra Pradesh.
- Highway Infrastructure Limited, led by Managing Director Arun Kumar Jain, will manage toll collection, road operations and toilet-block upkeep along the 82.5-km NH-16 section, with the contract boosting revenue visibility and strengthening eligibility for larger future projects.
- HIL’s consolidated order book rose to ₹1,078 crore as of December 10, 2025, up from ₹750 crore a month earlier, comprising ₹577 crore in EPC projects and ₹502 crore in tollway projects, marking a phase of strong, profitable growth.

637. Centre approves road projects worth ₹44,771 crore for Odisha
- On December 9, 2025 in New Delhi, the Centre approved ₹44,771 crore for national highways, state highways and CRIF projects in Odisha, including plans for a new Bhubaneswar–Paradip thoroughfare, as stated by Odisha minister.

638. UPI Ranked World’s Top Real-Time Payments System By IMF; Holds 49% Global Transactions
- On December 9 2025, in New Delhi, India’s UPI was confirmed by the IMF’s June 2025 report as the world’s largest retail fast-payment system, with additional global rankings highlighted in a written statement to the Lok Sabha.

639. Maharashtra cabinet approves scheme to build motorable farm-to-field roads
- On December 7, 2025 in Maharashtra, the cabinet chaired by Chief Minister approved the Mukhya Mantri Baliraja Shet-Panand Raste Yojana to construct all-weather, motorable farm-to-field approach roads across rural districts.

640. Tata And Intel Sign Landmark MoU To Manufacture Chips In India And Scale Next-Gen AI Computing
- On December 8, 2025 Intel, a United States–based semiconductor company, and the Tata Group formalised an MoU in India to collaborate on semiconductor manufacturing, advanced packaging and AI-focused PC solutions at Tata’s upcoming facilities in Dholera, Gujarat, and Assam.
- Intel and Tata Group will jointly explore manufacturing and packaging of Intel products in India, combining Intel’s AI compute designs with Tata Electronics’ manufacturing capabilities to build a resilient semiconductor supply chain through advanced production and assembly.
